Local Priorities Parking issues Update

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Parking issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Last week PCSO’s conducted proactive patrols at Field Head Carr Primary School over a two-day period, following community concerns raised at a community contact point in relation to parking issues outside of the school.

The PCSO engaged with the school, and those parking in the area to advise on safe parking.

It was noted that vehicles were parking outside of the school gates, where there is a sign requesting vehicles not to park. This was prevented the following day with placement of a marked police vehicle and the local PCSO’s will continue to monitor parking outside of the school in line with the concerns raised.

Parents are requested to park safely and considerately in the area.
