Drugs arrest - Stanley |
Dear Resident,
Whilst driving to work yesterday, Inspector Fraser of Wakefield Central NPT saw three men acting suspiciously on Moorhouse Avenue, Stanley. A vehicle then pulled up alongside them and a transaction took place. Suspecting this to have been a drugs deal the vehicle was followed and colleagues in marked vehicles were directed to its location. The vehicle was caused to stop on Neil Fox Way and the four occupants were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. On being searched they were found to be in possession of a quantity of drugs, cash and other items linked to drugs trafficking.
Inspector Fraser said: “Wakefield Central NPT remain incessant with our approach to tackle all criminality and bring offenders to justice. This sends a clear message to anybody wishing to bring drugs, or any other form of criminality into our communities. We are watching you and we will act.”
