Operation Trimburg Update |

OP Trimburg Mirfield – Supported by local ward councillors & Mirfield Town Council Officers attended the Mirfield area on Operation Trimburg that targets fatal 5 offences and anti-social driving. Intelligence is fed into the operation by the Kirklees ward councillors from members of the community.
The fatal 5 offences are… Failing to wear a seatbelt Speeding Driving whilst under the influence of drink or drugs Driving whilst using a mobile phone Driving without due care an attention and/or dangerous driving
Following information passed by the local constituents we have targeted the following areas… Stocksbank Road, Mirfield Sunnybank Road, Mirfield Church Lane, Mirfield Knowl Road, Mirfield Shillbank Lane, Mirfield Huddersfield Road, Mirfield Flash Lane, Mirfield Hopton Lane, Mirfield
13th of October 2025 – Day of action Traffic Offence Report X4 – Glass not as prescribed (Shillbank Lane) X3 – Speeding (Hopton Lane) X7 – Mobile Phones (Huddersfield Road) X1 – Registration not conforming to regulations (Sunnybank Road)
