Two Nissan Navara’s stolen overnight on Saturday 16 August.

We are urging Nissan Navara owners to take extra security precautions after two vehicles were stolen overnight in the local area. These were from Portobello Road and Alverthorpe Road, Wakefield.

Prevention tips:

Always lock and secure your vehicle, even if parked on your driveway.

Use a steering wheel lock or additional visible deterrent.

Consider fitting a tracking device or aftermarket immobiliser.

Park in a well lit area.

Never leave keys or fobs near doors or windows where they can be scanned or taken.

Report any suspicious activity around vehicles immediately to police.

If you own a Nissan Navara, please be extra vigilant.
