On Saturday, PCSO Coe was invited to and attended the Cross Green Growing Zone 10th Birthday celebration, in the Burmantofts and Richmond Hill ward.

A fantastic, fun and educational event which was well attended by locals, families and volunteers, who have done a fantastic job of growing fresh fruit and veg, which they use to help families in need in the community.  

From building bug homes, toasting marshmallows, riding bikes to create smoothies and music entertainment, lunch, refreshments and a special visit from Deputy Mayor Barry Anderson, all present thoroughly enjoyed the event and the wonderful achievements of the Cross Green Growing Zone.
