You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred between 0245hrs and 0300hrs on 14/07/2025.

Between time and dates stated 4 unknown suspects attend locus. Suspects gain entry through lower toilet window suspected to have been left open. Suspects then steal 2 vehicles A Dacia Duster VRM: YE24WHA which failed to stop for officers and a Dacia Sandero VRM: YC13RXH which is later located locked and secure in behind BP NEWLINE.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it.

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
