Parking issues - Thornton Lodge and Crosland Moor

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Parking issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Targeting Unsafe Parking in Crosland Moor & Thornton Lodge
On Tuesday 1st July, our NPT officers teamed up with Kirklees Council Parking Enforcement to tackle problem parking spots in Crosland Moor and Thornton Lodge — including Dryclough Road and Springdale Street.
Multiple tickets were issued, a driver was dealt with for not wearing a seatbelt, and officers received lots of positive feedback from the local community.
We’re aiming to make these joint patrols a regular thing to help keep our streets safer for everyone.

If you ever experience this issue or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.westyorkshire.police.uk/report-it, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101.

Alternatively, you can stay 100 per cent anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.
