You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred 0000hrs on 16/06/2025 & 1800hrs on 21/06/2025.

ATTACKED PROPERTY IS A SINGLE OCCUPANCY 2 BEDROOM BUNGALOW LIVED IN BY ELDERLY MALE WITH REGULAR CARE VISITORS. RP IS NEIGHBOUR WITH POWER OF ATTOURNEY AND NOTICED REAR WINDOWS OF LIVINGROOM AND BEDROOM WERE DAMAGED FROM VISIBLE TOOL MARKS. RP BELIEVES ATTEMPT OCCURED IN PAST WEEK ACCESSED BY SUSPECTS FROM REAR GARDEN FENCE.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it.

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock.

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
