Valuables stolen from vehicles at Navigation Point, Castleford.


Good afternoon

 

Valuables were stolen from vehicles in Castleford in the early hours of Tuesday 25 March. These occurred at Navigation Point.

 

Stolen items included a debit card, fuel card, Launch vehicle diagnostic tablet, Hanson T6 bespoke clarinet and a dash cam.

 

Nearby CCTV shows two suspects – Suspect 1 - wearing a woolly hat, blue jogging pants with a stripe down the side and dark trainers with a white sole. Suspect 2 – wearing a grey tracksuit. 

 

Investigations are ongoing.

 

Please remain vigilant and take the following precautions:

 

Always lock your car, even when parked on your driveway.

Never leave items like wallets, bags or electronics visible inside your car.

Always double check that you have locked your vehicle by trying the door handle.

Vehicles with unfolded electric wing mirrors could indicate that it has been left unlocked. Car thieves are known to look out for vehicles with wing mirrors sticking out.
Offences can take place anywhere, in a car park, at the side of the road or on your driveway.


Report any suspicious activity to the police and inform your neighbours.
