You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on 25/02/2025 in the evening around 1925hrs, the method of attack was by snapping the handle and removing the cylinder lock allowing entry. The suspects gained entry into the kitchen and proceeded to search the ground floor address. Once the enter the living room they have take car keys and left taking the car. 

The car was later found by the owner in BD9 area and recovered. 

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between 25/02/2025 1915hrs and 1945hrs to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
