Knottingley – Police Sports!

 

There were 17 in attendance at Sunday’s police sports session in Knottingley, which included a newcomer.

 

The ‘Star of the Week’ medals & certificates were awarded to Keegan (left) for rugby as he played incredibly well, scoring a brace of tries and made some quality tackles.

Whilst Tyron was chosen for football having impressed with his efforts throughout the game. . . Here we also have Lucas, who is doing a great photobomb and showing his support for the award winners! 

 

*** Please note: This week’s session is to take place at the alternative day & time of FRIDAY the 10th of May between 4:30pm & 7:30pm. ***

 

The fun & FREE sessions consist of games of kick tennis, tag-rugby & football and is available to youngsters of all ages and abilities. It is non-selective, with newcomers always welcomed!

 

The benefits for your child taking part in these activities are that not only does it deter them from getting involved in anti-social behaviour, but it also benefits their health & wellbeing. Improves their communication and teamwork skills, boosts their confidence, and helps them to make new friends whilst enjoying playing outdoors!

 

(Appropriate footwear is required and it is advised that they bring a drink with them.)
